Freelance Opportunity | OpenText Archive Center Upgrade Consultant (7+ Years)

VeriNova Tech is looking for an experienced OpenText Archive Center Consultant to join us on a freelance, contract-based upgrade project. This role is for someone who has real hands-on experience executing Archive Center upgrades in SAP landscapes—not just admin or support work.

Role: OpenText Archive Center Upgrade Consultant (Freelance)

Experience: Minimum 7+ years

Engagement: Freelancing / Contract

Start: Immediate or short notice preferred

What You’ll Do

• Execute end-to-end OpenText Archive Center upgrade

• Assess existing Archive Center & repository setup

• Plan upgrade strategy, downtime, and rollback

• Handle Archive Center services, repositories, and configuration

• Validate SAP–OpenText integration (ArchiveLink, ILM, DMS where applicable)

• Troubleshoot post-upgrade issues (connectivity, certificates, services)

• Support testing, stabilization, and hypercare

• Deliver clean technical documentation and handover

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Archive Center

• Proven upgrade project experience (mandatory)

• Strong SAP integration knowledge (ECC / S/4HANA)

• Solid troubleshooting skills across OpenText, SAP, OS & network layers

• Ability to work independently in a freelance model

Good to Have

• SAP ILM exposure

• OpenText Content Server knowledge

• Experience in audit, compliance, or regulated environments

• Cloud or hybrid landscape exposure

Not a Fit If

• You’ve only handled Archive Center admin/support

• You’ve never worked on a live upgrade

• You rely completely on vendor support to fix issues
